Not possible to post/react
« on: January 10, 2021, 13:01:51 PM »
Apparently it was no longer possible to react or post on this forum. I fixed te problem, one file was damaged on the server that caused this to happen.
Thanks to xpd153 and Rob for reporting this.

update 1. The problem with not being able to react/post is not yet over. From several hours to several days it happenes again.
I am monitoring it at the moment and looking into what's causing it.

update 2. Last couple of days I've been looking for a new company to migrate the website to. I have aquired webspace at a new company and currently testing that environment.

Once a copy of this site succesfully works on that host, I will migrate the forum.

update 3. The website is now running from a new server. No data was lost, however I had to migrate in order to make sure no data was lost hence still some minor problems..

I am gonna get some sleep but put "maintenance mode" off, so you can play around to see if it's working ok.
Ill do some tests later myself also

Attachments don't seem to display correctly at this time..

update 4. The existing links in the forum don't all work cause the mappings on the new server are different. Looking into it and putting the site back in maintenance.
Also deleted the reactions in this topic that have been dealt with.

update 5.  Fixed existing links in the forum linking to other topics and fixed the links to the Hurricane manuals. Pulling the forum out of maintenance mode

update 6. Mail not working yet

Update 7. Working on security at new registrations

Update 8. Implemented security features for bot registrations.

Update 9. Got mail working on the new host, so new registrations are now possible again! Deleted all non activated bot accounts and converted the entire site to SSL (more secure)

update 10. Added test board should you wanna try out features (this one)

I think I fixed everything now. It was a radical move moving to another webhost but I'm glad I did.
