While going through the manuals, I noticed the valve seat cutters are the same as the CBX750 85 , except for the IN/EX cutter 60 degrees 30mm which is the same as the CBR1000 87, maybe  similar  special tools used on each

It looks great, but you are aware of the amount of work involved in translating the whole book?
I think that most people who buy this bike now are old hands at motorcycling and maintenance of bikes, and can manage quite well with the Japanese manual, augmented with the 1000 manual for more difficult tasks. I admire your diligence in taking it on, but have no idea how many will really appriciate the amount of work involved.

There is no English workshop manual for CBR750.  None of us have seen it. Therefore, it would be great.
However making it needs tremendous efforts. I am afraid you will end up with complete English workshop manual but no CBR750.

Obviously getting CBR750 in England is extremely long shot. Existing number is small. Good one is rare and owner does not want to give away. Many not good one were already decomposed.
If you have a CBR750, complete English workshop manual would give yourself many benefits.

So I would say,

First CBR750 then manual.

Yes, might as well carry on with the manual at present until a bike turns up, just finished Chapter 3. Bill

One big advantage is that by the time you finished the manual you won't need it anymore, you'll know that bike inside out by then gasdrop

To be sure I dont think I would have needed the manual, I've Stripped and rebuilt so many different models of Hondas , V and Inline 4s and twins ,singles , but this is like climbing Everest because it's there I have to do it gribbin12

Like i wrote earlier, experienced bikers only need manuals for the exact numbers and data like wear limits and bearing clearances, maybe some torque settings.
Your knowledge of Japanese will increase too, I imagine :winknudge:

Have had some weird and wonderful translations from the Google Translator, put one in about the Sub-air pipe and it came back "You look wonderful tonight", so is a struggle to work it out smile1004euhrr
