Another Kiwi to find you all
« on: January 12, 2016, 23:05:23 PM »
Hi All,

I got a '89 hurricane a year ago off the father-in-law who had it parked up couple of years and only recently gotten round to getting it road worthy.

Thinking I might do it up mainly black with yellow/blue like our  Super 15 rugby team (the Hurricanes)

Cheers
Darcy

Welcome, those bikes seem to be more popular on your side of the world nowadays.
I trust you'll find al the info you might need on here, if not do not hesitate to ask.

Welcome to CBR750 rider's last hope site. Probably You can not get detail info about CBR750 at other site.
By the way, Honda never produced 89' model. Just they produced CBR750 for 87 and 88.
if your CBR's front disk brake is floating and rear direction indicator is separate type, then your is 88. If not so, yours is 87.

Of course xpd is absolutely right with his remark
Are you situated anywhere near Taranaki, or mnt Ruapahu? If so, try to contact RuaphuNZ, ( real name Andy Wilson)a member  here who really is into motorcycles, and seems to know the most beautiful roads to go touring in NZ!
