Having dropped my bike against the corner of my house ages ago I decided to give the Am-Tech dent pulling system a go.

The glue gun trigger broke on the third pull so I regard the gun as super low quality but you can still use it by pushing the sticks through.

After about an hour the result is quite good and with a bit of a sand and a small amount of filler should look ok again!

Recommend a bostic gun though!

That's not bad at all, I'll see if that stuff can be bought here as well, there is a shallow dent in one of my tanks for years now.

Theres a lot of negative feedback on amazon where i got it but its one of those things that you keep having to persevere with! I stripped the gun and fixed the trigger just now as well! It won't do tiny dents but my tank had two tiny and the bigger one in the middle which it did quite well. Took about 20 pulls and two glue sticks.

There is an RC27 fuel tank at Japanese auction site.http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k178641222 Current price is 18000yen(US$150)
That price does not include domestic shipping cost.
 Of course, the seller said he won't export it. The item is bulky.Shipping to UK would be expensive or prohibitive.(more than $300?).

Thanks for the info, I'm going to tart mine up as best I can to keep the cost down! Leather seat cover and stainless exhausts were overkill as it is. Got some filler to prep it and may get someone to paint it or do it myself - will see when I get time!

There are lots of cbr1000 sc21 (the first edition) tanks to be found second hand, and except for the colour they'll fit like they  belong on the 750......

 I know SC21 fuel tank fits to RC27. But I know there are some people who want to keep his/her vehicle at mint condition as possible.
 I just suggest one possibility. Maybe James's next international trip destination is Japan. Maybe his brother in law is a officer of UK consulate at Osaka,Japan.
 Or James may win UK lottery.(if so, you can buy two complete RC27s for parts, at 299,000yen(US$2600) at same auction site)

Nice work james. Thats a cracker of a wee kit, way better than the usual processes I've used in the past. Be interesting to see how much the panel shop will charge to repaint the tank eh..

How ya gonna re do the graphics? Might be worthwhile to pop along to a sign shop? They may be able to recreate them for ya for a reason able price.
