Like or dislike....?

The 2nd and 3rd pics are to show the twin can set up on the 600, as yet unfinished tho hence the cable ties, I need to sort out hangers etc for the cans

Hey Iain,

Gold on the TL  smile1004great  matches the bike well

Gold on the red 600  smile1004dow looks like cheap bling bud, ya'd need those bling'y gold teeth inserts to match em  :winknudge:

Cheers, Andy

It certainly LOOKS to be a larger diametre. Maybe it'll look smaller if you paint it gold?

Thanks for the input Andy, constructive criticism is always welcome lol

I originally only put the carbon ovals on the TLR to see what they were like, but preferred the looks and sound to the shiny round Beowulf's so left them on

I got the gold cans out the shed purely to help fit the y pipe to the 600, but decided to stick one on the TLR for a laugh

and really liked it, but wanted a few opinions to back it up

It seems most people love them on there so I'll probably make it a permanent change once the 600 exhaust is sorted

I did take it out on Thursday night and although at tickover the cans sound the same, I'm sure the gold one has a much beefier sound so that clinched it really

Well it's a bonus if the yeloow cans make the TL growl better, it's a win win.

The 6 hundy would look awesome with the black pipes shortened down and being twinnies too (as per the other thread info) would definately make the bike stand out a bit in noise and looks department. Will the 6hundy need to be re jetted to make the most of the new pipes lack of back pressure?

What are the black pipes that keep getting mentioned? Are they the carbon effect cans, cos if so they have already been shortened ....

I don't think it'll stand out much as the cans are behind the rack so with the panniers on, they might not even be noticeable  :winknudge:

The rejetting is an interesting question I hadn't really thought about, I'll have to see what she runs like I guess and then go from there

Whoops, Sorry Iain, 'Carbon' not black, big difference. Not to worry if the pipes are hidden, so long as it sounds good eh  :uptosomething:
