use a prog to change them to jpg all at once, once you dloaded them from your mail, like acdsee

I think Iain anticipated the problem I had with the pps file, so he posted them in smaller batches. _{(He's quite smart sometimes)}

I don't always forward the mails, sometimes I remove the pics and then post them on here

I've had it time out on me too many times, then you get the 'you already posted that' etc, so I stick a few on and post it, then modify and add a few more

Wish I'd known that when I went through my pc converting all the Bitmap images to jpeg - you'd be surprised how much room that saves (Iirc, I reduced one folder from around 35mb down to 5mb just from changing the formats, they still look exactly the same)

use hypersnap or fraps or something to make screens with a hotkey which it then saves automatically on your hd.

Iain, I think G notified you (a couple of times) about using acdsee or such a prog ^^ long time ago though

Iain was even "encouraged" by some of us to go get it.......he isn't THAT smart yet to listen to good advice

So can you tell me how to get images out of a pps file?

Go to where the pps file is located on your pc, right click on it, and select 'New'

That opens it as a PowerPoint presentation, then you simply click on the thumbnail on the left, or scroll to it, and right click the image you wish to save

Select 'Save as picture....' and put it where you want it to go

Then you can just select it like any other image on your pc

Quite possible, but I have slept since then
