Me, a sound file. you must be joking, as that is not in my skill set. It is not to load and quit a bass sound. I don't like pipes that are to load. This site is not letting me upload pictures. Keep getting and notification, that the server will not load it, or that the picture is to big.

Got the bike back after my mate borrowed it for a year, but he did barely 100 miles on it. He did mange to get a new mirror for it, so that's a plus.  I still have to sort the lacquer out, but not to bothered. I brought a Hot Cam Carbon can that was for a VFR800 Fi some time back, and have now fitted it to day.  Very light. I had to make a bracket and cut and re-weld the the connecting tube so the can would miss the swing arm. Thought I would add some pictures of it, but will not let me. Will try later.

Buying and Selling / What to do
« on: June 16, 2021, 15:09:18 PM »
Got my Hurricane back a few weeks back and insured it straight away and went for a 30+ mile ride to get back in the swing. MOT today and sailed through. Now what to do. Do I keep it, or sell it, as I have to many bikes on the road. 2 is great, but 3 is meaning that they don't get the use they deserve. A good time of year to sell, but I don't thing they get the price they deserve, especially with the low mileage this one has, and garaged all the 20 years I have had it.

LED units does draw enough power for the indicator unit to operate. It uses heat to switch on and off. It needs more than 40 watts to be passing through it work. The more watts that pass through it , the faster in will flash. To be honest, there is no gain using LED over bulbs, as they go on and off just the same.

Honda CBR1000 Sebring Right Hand Can with Blanking Plug
This might be of some use to someone. It has a bung so it can just have the one can, It looks like it also have a fibreglass panel so the the other side can be tided up were the can and shield is removed.

Did you go for the pipe I put the link to, as I noticed they were sold a couple of days latter. I have just brought a full Micon system form a shop that is closing down and doing a clear out. He found them down in the cellar. The paper work in the box is dated 1995.  I just had to have it as it was so cheap £180.  There is a chap selling just the can on eBay for £350 plus shipping! When I get my bike back in the summer ( a friend is borrowing it), I will get it fitted.

There is a set on eBay for the 1000 in stainless

As to the sucking of the carbs, it is the engine side of the carbs. As to taking is fuel, that should not happen.

Before you put the carb's in, it is possible to balance the them. Suck balancing!  Sounds made, but I have had the best running engines by doing this. If you suck ( with your mouth) on #3 carb ( the master carb) , then do the same to #2 and 4 , adjust the carb so the suck resistance is the same, then do #1 carb. I have always got better results this way, over vacuum gauges. Worked in a garage for 14 years, and was a MOT tester, before working for myself, then moved on into engineering.

Had the same problem with mine years ago, with one cylinders not firing. Plugs ect did not make difference. It was a carb problem. Had them out 3 time, and cleaned all and blasted all the air ways through. Must of been something that did not want to shift, put purred like a kitten on the 3rd attempt, and has ever since.

Same, take is slow. Gave mine a full refresh in the 1st lock down. A friend is using it at the moment, but has just go himself one of these ugly twin BMW's, and needs loads of work, so should get it back in the spring.
