Recently got myself qualified as a diver whilst holidaying on the Red sea and im doing some advanced qualifications here in the UK. Turns out alot of divers you meet are bikers must be something to do with the spirit of adventure eh!!!

The guy who bought my cbr, Kevin, has been trying to register on the forum but gets the message "registration disabled". Could someone with the appropriate authority please check it out, cheers.

All Technical Issues / Rear no. plate light

There is no light on my cbr to illuminate the number plate. Dont usually ride in the dark and so only noticed recently. Im assuming there should a light under the tail light, is that correct?

New rear tyre, new chain and sprockets, passed MOT, everything is right with the world!!!

All Technical Issues / Drive sprocket removal

I need to replace the chain and sprockets on the 750 and im going to assume the drive sprocket is secured with a left hand thread, does that sound right?

Just to let you all know there are currently quite a lot of parts on uk ebay for cbr750 as a dealer has broken a bike. In addition there is also a new packaged cbr750 cylinder head gasket!!!

How do you get to it? Is it cockpit fairing off, clocks out or does the headlight unit come out?

All Technical Issues / Fairing mountings

Just made some mounting brackets from strips of aluminium to better secure the fairing, original mountings having broken many years ago i should think. Even though ive used bolts to secure them they are quite small and fit in with other fairing bolts in my opinion that is! Body work is now much more secure.

Even the purists amongst you must agree that getting those ugly black lower covers off to reveal the cast footrest hangers is far sexier and easily worth at least 10mph!!!
