Any mirrors from cbr1000 or vfr are easily adaptable by modifiyng the holes, they are all hidden by rubber sleeves so noone sees it....

There are two types of GPZ900R mirrors. A7 or later and A6 or prior. Kawasaki model name started at A1 and increased by every year.
Probably ebay mirror is older type. The older type does not fit according to Japanese CBR750 website.

There are many after market mirrors. But many motorcycles bolts interval is 35 - 55mm and it does not fit.
According to my memory, SC21, RC24 and RC36 have smaller interval than RC27.

Under the mirror base cowl, there is a steel frame which has mounting bolt hole. So if you want to make another hole, you may need to use drill for making a hole. I don't like this method.

According to my memory, availability of new genuine RC27 mirrors is quite bad.
About couple of years ago, I heard Honda did not have the parts. One of reason for poor availability is, considerable number of  mirrors were purchased by passenger car owners in Japan.

Still I have a GPZ900R mirror. But no longer used.

Anyway, I measured the interval of mounting bolts. its about 58mm. Pls see photo #1.
So likelihood the ebay item will fit RC27.

Thanks for the offer. I do think your ones do look a bit ugly. A got a massage back from the shop and they have flat glass, so no good. Yes they are 58mm hole centres, so a little filing is no problem for me as I am a engineer and working with metal all the time- well, when there is not a lock down.. I will keep looking, but not to fussed, as I have not had it on there for 19 years smile1004lol

Thinks have got very slow but not stopped. 1st the Lacquer problem. No motor factors had any as with all the stay homers were buying it all up to do home projects ( just like me). I ordered 6 cans of U-POL but they never turned up, so with much to and throwing with the seller, I now have them. I had a good close look at the tabs and decided to sort them all out and reinforces others. I have also decided to paint the black part along the bottom of the 2 side panels. There is a paint outlet near me that uses a scanner to get a perfect colour match, then mixes and puts into an spray can, but are closed at the moment due to the lock down, so that is also putting things back. If there was no lock down, I would of just put the plastic on as it is for the summer. Just a couple of pictures of bits, but they will look good once fully finished.

I have succesfully used MEK (methylethylketon) for repairing fairings and other ABS parts.

All back together,  but without the finale paint patch-up. New battery, oil and filter, and runs like a Swiss watch. Passed the MOT with no problems. A mate is borrowing it for a while.

It's original RC27 speed meter. But unit is MPH. Did you attach MPH grid?
Does UK MOT have speed meter test?

Is unit of odo and trip imperial mile?
