Likewise of course, and treat the fireworks with due care and attention.
Concerning the weather, I love global warming at the moment, I think it is almost as warm here as with you in NZ :-)

I had one once on my cb750, very nice, but stays wet for a very long time after standing in the rain.... :aa:

And global warming is history now over here, we just missed a white Xmas, but its white and cold right now

Yes hope you all had a good christmas and all the best for the new year. Pretty cold here in the UK at the moment, "icy"   so not getting out much. Santa brought me an Oximiser so bike is tucked up in the garage plugged in!!

Road traffic was skating here this morning, ice all over the roads, luckily I didn't have to go out today, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

Snow was just a temporary intermission, for next week/year they predict temps between 10 and 15 C again :pompom:
The Yammie stands in the garden with a solar battery conditioner, it starts no problem but doesn't charge the battery like it should. Anyway I can't ride it until March, new rules for road license for old(er) bikes, I'm not going to pay the full rate for a Yamahaha :uptosomething:

Whats peoples opinions about bike covers? Like James my bike attracts condensation in the garage at this time of year. So would a cover reduce it or trap it and make things worse?

I think it would trap it but i haven't tried. I have heard good things about this stuff and the guy I bought the bike off used it every year. Its just a bit expensive so I haven't bought any yet   http://www.acf-50.co.uk/motorcycle.htm

My bikes live in a simple wooden shed and under an adjacent motorport, a roof on stilts, and the wind blows through both, so no condensation.
Worked well enough for the last three decades or so.
