Nice bike Dave, them vfrs are legendary. My brother has an older 750 model in mint condition and a pile of spare parts to keep it tip top too, he loves the thing. He was a little mortified when i sold my CBR being a stoic Honda fan.

Yes the early 750s are very desirable. This one is nice the vtec takes some criticism in the press but i grew up on 2 strokes with power bands and its nothing like that. The 4 valves kick in at 7000rpm and then the V4 sounds like a big Aprilia but surge in power is just like any big bike coming on song. The press talk a lot of crap its totally rideable, i think they sometimes create problems to give them something to write about!!

Yep I'd agree with that, the critics tend to get too critical at times. We have a couple of VFR's at work and the guys love em, more so when they get to open them up and let that vee four sing.

Take care and stay in touch eh, Ando

Sounds like reviews of some turbocharged cars I've driven - they say something is borderline undriveable because of the spooling but when you drive it yourself you scratch your head thinking "can these guys not drive, or do they only care about 100% or 0% throttle?" :upset:
