I wish you lots of fun with it, I love the sound of a v-four!
But  i bet you the CBR, in unrestricted form, is faster despite the 20 odd years difference gribbin12

Yes quite probably Rob there certainly wont be much in it. Have to say though having only briefly ridden it the feel is very different, brakes are much sharper and it feels lighter even though it isnt. I think its much better with a pillion i always felt that the cbr felt its age in terms of brakes and handling with 2 on.

I'm sure you're right there, but that's all upgradable (is that a word? gribbin12 ) and that's where i get my fun.
My CBR has less weight, sharper brakes, better tyres, better shocks and more power than Honda put in, and I hope if will last me at least another decade.
I hope you'll look in here now and again and keep us posted on your v-four experiences, after all it IS a Honda, no need to keep  at a distance.

Yes that red is definitely worth a few mph ha ha. Bike is 9 years old and came from a friend of mine who bought it off a neighbour of his so its history is well known.
I wasnt really in the market for a new bike but seemed too good to miss for the money.
Il be staying on the website keeping an eye on you all!!

Cbr has gone to a good home, a guy with a garage full of 80s sportsbikes. You never know he might turn up on the forum.
