Speedo glass
« on: February 25, 2014, 07:15:03 AM »
When I dropped my bike against the corner of the house like a tit, the glass in the rev counter cracked. If I buy an eBay speedo does anyone know if you can get the glass out to swap?

I wouldn't want to think of the ramifications of having to go through rego with a new odometer reading, so I hope for your sake that you can!

The tacho and speedo glass are one piece, and the speedo unit is just a big box screwed together.
As far as I know the size is similar to the thousands speedo unit so a glas from one of those should fit.

Might have a pop at that then once I've figured out what to do with the exhaust cans!
